Pinal County, AZ – Bust out your sense of good cheer and take a day trip out to the wildly popular and entertaining time machine known as the 28th annual Arizona Renaissance Festival.
With trumpets blaring and cannon blasting, the gates of the festival Village of Fairhaven swing wide open at 10 am Saturdays, Sundays, Now through the 27th of March.
This festival transports visitors to a medieval amusement park, a 13-stage theater, a 30-acre circus, an arts and crafts extravaganza, a jousting tournament, mermaids, people powered games and rides and a feast -- all rolled into one non-stop, day-long family adventure.
Have you rubbed shoulders with ROYALTY?! Locked looks with a KNIGHT in Shining Armor? Flirted with a Sea Fairie? What are you waiting for? Experience Action & Adventure at the Renaissance Festival EAST of Apache Junction on HWY 60. All the festival is a stage; you just don’t know what unpredictable medieval mayhem YOU may find as you explore the Faire.
New at the Faire this season: the Sea Fairies, Captain Francis Drake, the Angels. Visit new artisan shops and sample delicious new foods. There is Lots of Action and Adventure around every corner!
Don’t miss returning favorites such as Ded Bob, Tortuga Twins, Zilch, Don Juan and Miguel OR Another featured attraction are the live jousting tournaments held three times daily, complete with knights on charging horses, clanging weapons and a great deal of braggadocio.
The 16th century festival is home to many popular traditions including chomping down on a giant roasted “turkey leg”, and also features demonstrations of time honored crafts such as weaving, glass blowing, blacksmithing and pottery throwing.
A most special event within this giant event is The Pleasure Feast. This is a one and half hour five course medieval feast with live music and comedy entertainment, all you can eat and drink, plus a souvenir. With limited seating twice daily, advance feast reservations are recommended.

Where: East of Apache Junction on US Highway 60, near the Superstition Mountains.
When: ONLY TWO MORE WEEKENDS (Saturdays, Sundays through March 27). The Festival runs from 10a.m. until 6:00 p.m., rain or shine.
Tickets: Advanced discount tickets available on-line www.RenFestInfo.com or at Fry’s and Fry’s Marketplace are $22 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5 – 12, children under 5 are always FREE. Tickets purchased at the Festival Box Office are $2 more.
Discount tickets for seniors (60 and older) are $21, only available at the Festival Box Office. Parking is Free.
